We base our selection of special needs and adapted toys on the guidance and recommendations published by the RNIB for what makes a stimulating sensory toy. Generally we look for toys that:

• feature bright colours, contrasts different shapes and patterns
• use bold and clear lettering
• include different textures and tactile surfaces
• incorporate reflective surfaces and or flashing lights
• make noises
